Some stills from todays shoot

Here you go :)

Day 2 of filming

Got some more filming done today, it's taken around 3 hours just to do one scene!
The main character Tyler has just seen the Sheepman for the first time on his way to college.

Got a few other shots done for some more scenes too.

The neighbours and random people going past were laughing at the fact my dad was standing there with this silly mask on and dressed in a suit.

A few rough shots

I'm not going to say much about these as I don't want to give anything away. But here's a few shots from my short that I have filmed today.

(Click on the photos to enlarge)

This is the film that will be shown at Shorts
http://shorts2012.co.uk/

Making big changes to my short.

For the third, or fourth time I am changing my film.
I will have some rough shots up soon as I've already started doing some filming this morning.

Stay tuned :)

Some rough shots from filming today

Here's a lil peak at some shots from today.

Started filming for Stare today

Finally! Big thanks to Rachie H for acting and also helping me out today.
Shot the end of my first scene in my kitchen and also one of the last scenes on the stairway.
Think I've got some alright shots like.
Can't wait to get more of it done and start editing it all.
(I say that now but in a few weeks I'm going to start hating the editing process)

H plays the part of Sara, Tyler's girlfriend. She awakes in the morning to find Tyler has already left for work. Fed up and annoyed that she and Tyler never spend so much time together anymore, she doesn't hesitate when asked by a friend to go out with him for the day.

This is her. This is her blog. Check it out

New poster for Stare

Since I have the actual mask for my film I had to make a new poster.

Updated Synopsis for Stare

Tyler has an average life until one day he is on his way to work and sees someone out of the corner of his eye, he takes a look back but the man is gone. He continues to see this stranger through out his day, the more he sees him the clearer he becomes and Tyler realises this man is wearing a sheep mask. The days become worse, his paranoia grows and he starts to see the man everywhere he goes. No one believes him, not even his girlfriend. Is he really going mad and it's all in his mind? Or is everyone lying to him?

Filming

Did some more filming yesterday for my documentary, went really well and am actually excited about starting the editing process. I've been looking for archives about Pontypridd and I plan to go to the library and the museum in a few weeks for more information. It's all coming together nicely :)

...starting my documentary

So on Tuesday I began filming for my documentary. It's going to be about my family and home town Pontypridd and what life was like growing up in this town in South Wales from the 1950s to now.
I have been going through old family photos which will be featured in my film and I shall be interviewing family members and other members of the community here in Pontypridd to show how life has changed.

Here is a little preview of some the photographs

This is my Mother (right) and my Aunty Sian (left) dressed in their Welsh lady costumes for Saint David's Day. My aunty is also holding the Welsh flag.

This is my Nan and Gramp (my Mother's parents) when they were young outside my Nan's house

My Gramp with my Mam and my Aunty

This is my Great Grandfather, who I'd call Granddad. He is my Nan's father and would have been 100 this year.

This is Nanna Jones, my Nan's Mother. She is with my Mother and my Uncle.

You will learn more about them in my film and what life was like for them living in Pontypridd.
